Michael Canzoniero

Director

Michael, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and NYU Graduate Film School, is an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened at top U.S. festivals, including Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, and as the centerpiece of the New York Film Festival at Lincoln Center.

He has collaborated with acclaimed directors such as Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot), Abel Ferrara (Bad Lieutenant), and Brett Morgen (The Kid Stays in the Picture), as well as actors like Anne Hathaway, Josh Duhamel, Jordan Klepper (The Daily Show), JB Smoove, Wallace Shawn, and Tony winner Dan Fogler.

In television, Michael directed The Herbert Bros. (A&E) and Cedric’s Barber Battles (CW). His feature films include The Marconi Bros. (SXSW), Hysterical Psycho (Tribeca), and Making The Day (Cinequest).

In 2019, he relocated MCM Creative to Chelsea, expanding into a 10,000 sq. ft. production hub with soundstages, editing suites, and a post-production division. Clients include Nike, HBO, and Warner Bros.
